Allied Health Services
Our Allied Health Services are designed to help you build independence, improve your wellbeing, and achieve your personal goals. We take a person-centred approach, working closely with you, your family, and support network to develop practical strategies that suit your individual needs. Whether you’re looking to improve mobility, develop communication skills or build everyday living skills, our experienced allied health professionals are here to help.
Our Allied Health Services include but are not limited to:
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy services focus on improving movement, strength, balance and overall physical function. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing a disability or building everyday mobility, we develop personalised therapy plans that help increase independence, reduce discomfort and support your long-term health and wellbeing.
Occupational Therapy
We help participants build the skills and confidence needed for everyday living. From improving daily routines and recommending assistive technology to home modifications and functional assessments, our occupational therapists provide practical strategies that promote greater independence at home, in the community and throughout daily life.
Speech Therapy
Our speech therapists support children and adults with communication, language, speech, swallowing and social interaction. Every therapy plan is tailored to individual goals, helping participants strengthen communication skills, build confidence and engage more effectively with family, friends, education, work and the wider community.
Social Work
Our social workers provide compassionate support to help participants navigate life's challenges with confidence. We offer counselling, advocacy, emotional wellbeing support and assistance accessing community resources, ensuring participants and their families feel connected, informed and empowered to achieve their NDIS goals.
Psychology
At Excellent Care Disabilty Services, our psychology service is designed to help participants build functional capacity and manage the mental health challenges they experience in everyday life. Our psychologists work closely with participants to understand their individual needs and develop personalised support plans that may include counselling, coping strategies, and interventions to improve emotional wellbeing, resilience, confidence, and overall mental health.
Behaviour Support
Our behaviour support service helps participants improve functional capacity by addressing behaviours of concern that affect their daily lives. Our behaviour support practitioners work with participants, families, and support networks to understand the underlying causes of behaviours and develop Positive Behaviour Support plans, including strategies to prevent self-harm, manage physical aggression, build positive behaviours, and improve independence and quality of life.
Our allied health team works collaboratively to provide personalised, evidence-based support that empowers you to live more independently and confidently.
