Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Our supported independent living service is meant to help participants live as independently as possible within their choice of living environment, be it their home or a shared accommodation without compromising their safety or well-being.
As per your everyday needs, goals and NDIS plan, SIL may include support with:
- Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Meal planning and preparation
- Household tasks (cleaning, laundry, general upkeep)
- Medication assistance and health routines
- Developing daily living and independent living skills
- Community participation and social engagement
- Behaviour support implementation
- Overnight support (sleepover or active overnight, where required)
- 24/7 support for participants with higher support needs
- Communication and decision-making support
- Building routines, confidence, and independence
Under this service, you remain in control. The dedicated support workers don’t take over but provide all the support and resources you need to build the desired skills and live a life of your choice.
